Step by step tutorial:

For the first layer I used a piece of purple cardstock measuring 20cm x 5cm punched with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.

then I stamped it with the Manuscript Background stamp set, using the Lightning Black ink.

For the second layer I used a piece of lilac cardstock  measuring 17cm x 5cm, allowing plenty of space for the tearing process, and stamped it with the Music Background stamp, using the Pearlescent Lavender ink.

Using the Around the Page Loops Border punch on the left side, tearing the right hand side and the top to complete the second layer.

It was then the time to distress the printed quote, using Seedless Preserves distress ink.

I made my embellishments by stamping one of the flowers from the Petite Petals stamp set and punching them out with the matching punch, and using the Seedless Preserves distress ink to sponge the edges.

All that was left to do, was to assembling the bookmark to get this final result.
