One month apart ~ Scrapbook layout

This is when ugly patterned paper meets ugly stickers… You know when you find things you bought years ago, and look at them and think ‘What the heck is going on here?’ Yep… I have a bunch of ugly paper to get rid of, not to mention the quantity of stickers I bought before even knowing what a stamp was…¬†

That moment when you are glad that the pattern is not on show when you are layering paper ūüėÄ

Moments with you ~ Scrapbook layout

The title looks really¬†bad… But that’s what happens when you are trying to make use of the leftover letters… Oh well. Not even I can look at it twice…

Music to my heart ~ Scrapbook page

It took some convincing for me to post this layout, and to accept the title… But here it¬†is. I had to be reminded to not attach the pictures so I would share this page.

Patterned paper meets texture paste and voilà!

Cry me a river ~ Scrapbook Layout

I haven’t been doing much, so every time I get something done is a great accomplishment…

I just received (finally decided to buy) the ‘Water effects 2’ by Designs by Ryn, and it was just impossible not to play with it, and I’m entering it in the May Customer Creation Challenge.

003@

As I was looking at the unmounted sheet I was just wondering, how fantastic would it be if Ryn had the stencils of these images? Like, all options available in one stencil. If you agree that this would be an amazing addition to Ryn’s products, or just a way to take these images to the next level, please let her know. Just imagine using the texture paste on those running drops…

I made some more pages but forgot to take the picture before gluing down my photos, so I only have one more to share with you.

Time With Dad – Scrapbook Layout

I finally finished these 2 pages scrapbook layout. But my son dropped my camera, and since, the quality of the pictures got really bad. Using the ‘Auto Adjust’ function on Picmonkey didn’t help much,¬†so it was time to get my mobile phone to work, and start taking pictures all over again.

To mat the pictures I used the backgrouds2build (from the TSOL). I didn’t care about being perfect or even finish the middle as I knew the pictures would cover it up.

Then I used the visual artistry clear stamps for the quote, the clock face, and to add some more elements to the page.

Sometimes I make things that I end up not using, and that was the case with that piece embossed with the ‘notebook’¬†Texture Fades Embossing Folder, that I had previously¬†stamped with one of the Bo Bunny stamp sets.

SAM_8151@

I re-used the sentiments from the old page.

The clip folder was another piece that was ready in my box of unused made items, and that one was made with a die cut from Tim Holtz, the Stampin’ Up¬†Pretty Print Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, plus a stamp from the¬†Kinda Eclectic Stamp Set, also by Stampin’ Up.

This was one of the pictures taken with my camera… I think it lost colour with the fall. The pocket watch is a die from Tim Holtz, and the clock face a stamp from¬†visual artistry clear stamps.

 SAM_8159@

I decided to re-use one of the frames I had in the old page, but stamped it with the tickets from visual artistry clear stamps to match the other page.

IMAG0725@

I don’t know the name of the¬†visual artistry clear stamps, but here is a picture.

IMAG0730@

For the title I used stickers. And now, off to add the pictures to my pages, and move to the next one!

Baby boy, baby boy ~ Scrapbook Layout

It might seem that I abandoned this space, but no. I’m being just too busy learning new things. I have so many interests that sometimes I don’t know where to focus…

This layout was on my table half assembled for quite a few days, plus the Christmas tags, and another box that I’ve started but haven’t got the time yet to finish.

You get to choose which picture you prefer. I asked my husband to go outside and take the (first) picture with the layout on the balcony chair, because the light on my bedroom window was quite weird for pictures.

In this layout I used two 6×6 inch patterned paper, the embellishments from two disassembled pages from the old album, and a bunch of pieces of scrap papers. The two tags were also made from scraps. So if you are one of the people who complain about having too many scraps, put them to use and they will go away ūüėČ

I know that some people don’t like to use the same paper more than once, I have no problem with it whatsoever. And if I really like one pattern I even buy a bunch of sheets.
